Rocky Hill was brought to life by the vision and love of one local family, Laura & Alfredo. Inspired by their children, their weddings - they set out on the journey to build a remarkable & sustainable space for couples to celebrate their love amidst the beauty and nature.
Just beyond White Salmon past the rolling green hills, Laura & Alfredo discovered a hidden gem—a breathtaking clearing nestled amidst the pine trees. It was in this serenely beautiful setting, filled with wild lilacs, lily of the valley, tall grasses, backdrops of maple trees that they decided they could build a space for generations to come.
Laura & Alfredo maintain a commitment to preserving the integrity of the land. They understood the value of the trees in the area and saw their potential to become an integral part of their vision. With careful consideration, they selected a couple trees that would have otherwise been tossed, and through Alfredo’s skilled craftsmanship, these trees were transformed into the material that would become the main reception space. Every aspect of this venue from the reception space, to the water fountains, landscaping, tree deck and courtyard were all hand built by Alfredo, family and friends.
When Alfredo initially built this space, he and Laura imagined it would be used for family gatherings and locals, however they quickly realized what they built was too special not to share with everyone who would enjoy and appreciate the landscape. They continued to build spaces to create the perfect venue - a tree deck that hangs amongst the trees, a beautiful courtyard for dancing, dinners, and meandering spaces for everyone to enjoy.
Today, the wedding venue stands as a testament to the love and dedication Laura and Alfredo have for each other, their family and the land they call home. Every aspect of the venue reflects the couple's commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the land and creating an unforgettable experience for couples on their special day.
